Rather than more active endeavors, Harry focused on writing and textile arts, becoming a world-renowned artist and published author of a book which is today an industry-standard textbook for anyone in the textile industry.
The 59 page recipe book is a collection of recipes prepared by Chefs, Cooks, and Sous Chefs at Beatitudes Campus, a retirement campus in Phoenix, Arizona. Several of these recipes have won awards. They are healthy recipes with links to watch videos of the chefs preparing the recipes.

Cranberry Apple Cole Slaw
Recipe by Cosmin Barbu.
INGREDIENTS
1 head small cabbage – shredded – approx 6 cups
Alt 1/2 head green and 1/2 head purple
1.5 C shredded carrots
2 C apples cut into matchsticks – approx 2 large apples
1/2 C sliced almonds
1/2 C dried cranberries
1 tsp parsley
DRESSING
1/4 C mayo
1/3 C olive oil
1 TBL honey
2 TBL apple cider vinegar
Poppy seeds
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
STEP BY STEP
In a large bowl mix together first five ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients, then mix until smooth
Pour over cabbage mixture, tossing gently to coat.
Taste and adjust salt and pepper if necessary
Put into a bowl and top with chopped parsley
Cover, and let rest in fridge for two hours before serving
Robert Andrews cooks under the umbrella of Grandpa Cooks.
Born in Marion, Ohio, Robert lived in the Andalucian area of Southern Spain with his wife Cynthia, while traveling into the neighboring countries of Andorra, Czech Republic, Portugal, Turkey, France and other areas of Spain.
Robert started his cooking career as a short order cook at the L-K Restaurant in Marion, Ohio in 1979. He later held assistant manager positions at McDonalds and Pizza Hut. He holds a degree from University of Phoenix in business management and has obtained cooking inspiration from Turkistan Ashevi in Istanbul, Turkey, and has attended classes at The Culinary Institute of America, and The Canyon Ranch Resort in Tucson.
